Re: FOLLOW ME UP LIVE TOUR 2015 - 2016

Yeah, Dec. 31/Jan. 1 is the one night all year when trains run all night (not "until" 5am, it's continuous service even after 5am). It's pretty nice! Wish they'd do it on other special days too though...

Re: FOLLOW ME UP LIVE TOUR 2015 - 2016

Yay! I'll be going 12/30 then. Alone for now, so let me know if anyone else is going on that date and wants to meet up!

Re: FOLLOW ME UP LIVE TOUR 2015 - 2016

I'm planning to go 12/30, and I'm not a fan club member. If someone could enter for me for 1 for that date, that would be great! Otherwise I will use the voucher in the album DVD edition to get tickets myself.

RE: New Album in March and Live event

Thanks for pointing out this, I'm not a native English speaker and I didn't know that term :) I'll fix my brief translation above. If you are not a native English speaker, it's probably a good idea to refrain from translating into English, especially when you are going to be the first to answer a t...

RE: Translations

Maaya's two latest blog entries (May & Oct 2012) translated here . also, I'm making progress on my current project of replacing all the translations by other people that were on my site with ones made by me, and correcting my old translations. We're up to Shounen Alice now! Just the 2003-2009 era le...

RE: New Album in March and Live event

Okay, let's get something straight here. Singer-songwriter is an established phrase in English, as it is in Japanese. There is absolutely no chance at all that the final word is "lighter" -- that is just insane. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singer_songwriter It's also not Singer Song Writer because ...

RE: New Single Collection "Mitsubachi"

I'm completely and tooootally aware of that, but my point is that hatsu is not hachi. That's what I meant by "not sure where that came from"--I know what you meant, but it's still really reaching because it's not actually part of the word.

RE: New Single Collection "Mitsubachi"

There's some wordplay with the numbers in the titles: Hatsu (first) = Hotchpotch Ni (two) = Nikopachi Mittsu (three) = Mitsubachi Hmm, I want to agree with your theory, but I don't think ハチ (not sure where はつ/hatsu came from--if anything, I'd think ハチ could somewhat sound like はじ as in はじめて) was ev...

RE: Translations

I'll definitely be able to work on new updates shortly, but in the meantime, I moved my site to a blog, so Maaya is now here: http://lavendral.wordpress.com/%e5%9d%82%e6%9c%ac%e7%9c%9f%e7%b6%be-maaya-sakamoto/ and right now not everything is up because I'm going to be revising my old translations an...

Not "my" translation or romaji and thus not "my" error, I only posted what was elsewhere and gave credit... PLEASE, people, read the credits at the bottom!

Eventually I'll replace what's there with my own work and it will get fixed then.

RE: time to rank again!! ur all time MAAYA best ^

For some reason I recently decided to compile my absolute favorite Maaya songs. These are songs that really resonate with me and I can't explain why. I just adore them. In no particular order: - Remedy - Makiba Alice! - birds - Kazamidori - Cloud 9 - Kimidori - Mameshiba - tune the rainbow - Sayonar...
