Re: New Kanno song "Aruko" with Iwasato, 9th album "Follow Me Up"

Here I was thinking they should stop releasing DVD but guess not :D BD players have been around for 10 years! :D I don't have any big screen and don't want one. So I'm not interested in buy stuff at higher price for better image. The first use of my DVD is to rip the audio from them to be able to *...

Re: New Kanno song "Aruko" with Iwasato, 9th album "Follow Me Up"

FOLLOW ME - perky, pleasant, probably not something I'll play often, harkens back a little to the Yuunagi Loop sound (better than that, though, I think Yuunagi Loop is Maaya's weakest album) Aruko - less experimental than More Than Words was but unmistakenly Kanno in its use of strings. Sounds grea...

Re: New Song for The Asterisk War

It would be strange to release a single so close to the album. I don't think it would be strange at all. Back in 2011, Maaya released two singles in October (Buddy & Okaerinasai) and then a mini-album (Driving in the Silence) a couple weeks later. Flying dog could have easily made one album with al...

New Song for The Asterisk War

Flying dog announced a new song from Maaya, which is the ending theme for the upcoming anime "The Asterisk War". They didn't say it would be on her new album, so very possible it's a separate single release. Here are a couple links. http://www.jvcmusic.co.jp/flyingdog/-/Information/A008957.html?arti...

Re: New Kanno song "Aruko" with Iwasato, the 9th album and a tour Follow Me Up

Except that it isn't. It will have 15 tracks. The other are still waiting for announcement, I think. Yeah, some people must have missed this sentence which states a total of 15 tracks planned... "他、全15曲を収録予定" I would be really sad if the new album was 8 tracks, and only 1 of them being a new song. ...

There's a video of live studio performance of the new GitS Movie theme song on the official Cornelius site. I like this song much more than the one for Arise Alternative Architecture. And Maaya looks beautiful as always. :)

Re: 20th Anniversary Live "FOLLOW ME" group trip

Lol thanks for the pics, Scoop! @maayalove66: Seems to be a lot of video camera recording during the concert itself (and the video looks beautiful) so here's hoping! I'd love to buy it :) That is good to hear. I would definitely buy a video release of the concert, and it seems like a little while s...

RE: GITS Arise Alternative Architecture Anime OP AND Movie Theme Song by Maaya

I just watched the anime this morning, it was interesting. I watched the first episode of the GitS Arise OAVs, which came out recently on blu-ray in US. Arise is not nearly as good as Stand Alone Complex series. The new Arise song from Maaya is unimpressive too. :( [video=youtube]https://www.youtub...

Digital Single for Tamayura Movie

I think this song for the new Tamayura movie got overlooked with all massive news lately. I remember reading about it several weeks ago, but forgot until reading today's updates from flying dog. Only available in Japan as digital download, but hopefully will be released on a cd at some point. It sou...

That cover for Yakusoku wa Iranai is not quite what I expected. Not sure if I like it or not. :P

On the other hand, Kiseki no Umi performed by Akino Arai is heaven.
