Post by Merri »

I've updated the forum core to the latest release of phpBB, 2.0.12 :) If you find any new odd behaviour, let me know!

You need atleast once to relogin. It didn't keep logged in the first two times but since then I've been in like before. The session tracking system was made more secure.

I have updated MediaWiki to version 1.5.1; I also made it to require registration to edit anything. I also tried to make it use the same userbase as the forum, but that caused some errors so I switched back. Hope nothing messed up.

Updated to 2.0.19 - the spambots probably managed to register in due to outdated version. Will see.

Removed tons of spam users... guess I'll do some evil changes to the registration form to make it easier to detect bots vs. humans.

Yippee yay yay. Removed spam 20 minutes today and noticed it was possible to post anonymously to some of the forums. So, now guests can't post anywhere.

I'll have to look for antispam phpBB stuff, this far have been too lazy to do that. Need to find out what kind of solutions there are these days.
