Ideas for the site

Post by Tenson »

As you can see we're having an increment in member's entry, and some changes in the site.
Maybe it's a good moment for change more things and give a new flavour to the site, a new step forward.

What do you think about a kind of "contest" for a new logo and layout?

We also could do a page for "our goodies and Fan-art". For example, I've got wallpapers and avatars of Maaya. We also could include your music covers, lyrics tranlations, comic-strips and things like that.

Well, here my ideas go.

Post your opinions, if you want.
Post your ideas, if you have.

I think we should stay using the same old logo, just make it look a bit different; maybe make it look "better" and more polished. It'd be good if the changes could be kept simple, but yet very efficient (meaning: small work to do, but which has a lot of effect).

Maybe the easiest way to do the community fanhole is to make a forum dedicated for it? We can send attachments after all.

However, there's such a lack of Maaya fanwork I don't want it to be buried in the obscurity of a section where the majority of people won't visit that often. I'd rather have the main Maaya section as THE Maaya section.

At least until we get flooded with fan work that we can't see regular topics :P

In case wondering why nothing hasn't happened (again), it is because a new site launched a week ago and it has become incredibly popular. It had well over 5000 visitors yesterday. Keeps me busy, because the site isn't completely ready.

(I think it would be good to add Chinese to the different languages available to display the forum menus and all - if possible - because a lot of Chinese people registered lately)
