What I can't understand is... Could Kanno-san actually use the original song into her music?
It should be alright (obviously she's already done so), but I'm just quite blind at copyright law and so on...
And yes, I reckon Maaya's version brings more "feelings".

Anyway, Alexandr Borodin is credited for "The Garden of Everything" along with Kanno, even though the melody is too old to be protected by copyright
