Hello everyone!!!!

I`ve been looking for lyrics of the song Fad and I happen to notice that there are none that show what the actual lyric is.

So I tried to made a translation myself (as I`m Portuguese and the lyrics in the song are Portuguese ^^;;

Here you go!!

Fad

Se você não ficou,
Lá fora o dia passou,
Se você não ficou,
Tua vida é só para aqui,
Se você não ficou,
Lá fora o dia passou,
Se você não ficou,
Tua vida é só para aqui,

Te cala, te cala, te cala…
Viverei contigo, amor
Viverei contigo, amor

(Repeat)

Contigo..

As Heavenly Ocean said, Fad (or Fado?) is in Portuguese.

Yes, "Tell me..." is that short; only TV size for it. I don't think that a longer version were recorded.

It should be "Fado", as far as I know it means "Fate".

"Fado" is a portuguese word for Fate. Actually we have a music style called fado here (I believe you might now it). In some parts of maaya`s music it sounds a bit like it! ^_^

(Wonder why this song was done in Portuguese?) If you want I can translate all of it (I dont know if there is a translation here already!)

^^

I'm not very familiar with Fado music, but I remember someone said to me the lyrics were usually talking about lost love and other sad things :(

Yeah, fado has sad lyrics. The problem is that the music is always the same, with tiny modifications X'D that's why most of the portuguese hate fado, like me - I find it terribly boring :x

Awww, too bad. When I went to Portugal and got to know Fado, I liked it (bought myself two CDs, one of them obviously Amalia Rodrigues). It can get boring, though, that's true - maybe it's that kind of music one can only appreciate when one gets older?
