ok, after having the album for a while...my opinion of it has changed the more i've listened to it. i was pretty harsh on it at first, but now i realize that i was being closed-minded to a lot of the songs (paprika, tsuki no hashiri nagara, my favorite books, unison, etc.) i think that these are great songs now.

so, be honest, how many of you feel you were too harsh after the first listen thru?

In the begining, the only song I could listen to was Hello. Even now, I only listen to Hello. So, I guess my opinion is the same :x

I think I just dislike it a bit... you know, Maaya is kind of returning to her style at around Dive-Lucy.. and leaving Nikopachi-Shounen Alice style behind... I just like Maaya sings in her adult voice.. but now, I'm enjoying the whole album!!
It's strange to me that I dislike it at first because I usually get drowned in Maaya's song on first hearing... (there's exceptions... like Sora wo Miro...)

Imo the songs aren't at all like Dive or Lucy. Some of the songs are closer to Whoops!! songs than those albums. Although still much better than the Whoops!! songs. Maybe this is her second Whoops!! try, this time with much better sense for quality. I do rate this album above Shounen Alice. So it is an album worth to make.

sukoshi - a little

btw, ive always wondered...do we get the term 'skosh' from this word? like if someone says: "move over a skosh" they mean "move over a little bit." It seems to make sense to me...

Considering that most Americans only know a few Japanese phrases (which are: sayonara, konnichiwa, and domo arigato mr roboto), I really kind of doubt skosh came from sukoshi. It's really tempting to think that though! But I just don't have enough faith in the American people to believe it *laughs*

Well, US did occupy Japan for a good while after WWII...

That seems like it would influence Japan more than America, though, don't you think?

And it did, but I wouldn't think it would be impossible they got more than just some of the most basic words.

Trust me, I'm American, I live here, those three words are seriously all people know. *laughs*

Wow, you translate pretty good if you only know three words! :D

If you want to make the thread go back on track, you don't tell people to get back on track: you do something to get it back on track :) So...

I'm getting bored already to some of the songs. This is pretty quick, normally I can listen to many of Maaya's songs for a much longer while.
