Look what I got my hands on...

Post by dillpops »

Don't ask me how expensive this was ^^;;;; it was expensive, let's put it that way. But I had to have it. Because I'm insane. Especially when I cannot even read sheet music. Damn it!!!

Voice Actor Song File Box - 002 Song by Maaya Sakamoto

It has 23 songs, all of the songs of Hotchpotch (which, incidently I already have in another sheet music book with Nikopachi) but also these songs:

I.D
Hashiru (album version)
Yukka
Kodoku
DIVE
Orenji iro to Yubikiri
Aoi Hitomi
MY BEST FRIEND
Kaze ga fuku hi
sono mama de iin da

Anyway, it probably wasn't worth the money I paid for it but...I got it ^^VVV it's all for piano by the way. I'll be happy to scan them when I get home in late August :)

Cool stuffs there dilly, you have to be pretty serious about song composing to buy something like that. I may not be good in chasing dreams, but if you're good in the piano, maybe just maybe, in the close future you could try suggesting to Maaya chan for a 'live moment with a fan' where you play the piano and she sings.

Which i think would be much easier if you were living in Japan to keep track of her small live auditions / semi concerts. Coz i think Maaya nee chan always prioritize her fans needs first than herself. The way she writes and sing the songs, in my perspective, she doesn't sings just for making a living. Sometimes I do believe silly people exists in this time of age, like believing that honest love once happens sometimes in some people's life, where that person actually do something but not wishing something back, just being honest like that.

That's the reason why I still listen to her songs, not because what's in the words or what Aunt genius (Yuho) has to write. It's because I'm listening what Maaya feels directly from her heart's content, as a daughter, as a girl, as an elder sister, as an adult and as an artist.

It's weird, sometimes my sight of the future sees something. Probably there will be a moment where the downs are more. That is where the real Maaya fans will show, true listeners down from the heart whom will listens and support her back. The amount is small, well at first it was in a small number after all. Really, the person with most tears, is probably her after all..

XD watashiwa iku.. faster than anyone.. sobani ite

^ She bought it because it has Maaya songs in it, not for compositional reasons. And Dilly said she can't read sheet music o_o;

It looks pretty cool, I await scans. Do you know if they're in original key? Or do they look as if they've been made more basic...(I know you can't read sheet music but usually it's obvious if its been simplified_)

I got it off a marketplace seller on Amazon.co.jp for about 9000yen ^^;;;;; it's used but a book is a book. Um, it is in the original key, or at least it makes a note of the original key on each piece of notation. Compared to the nikopachi and hotchpotch books though the notation looks really simple...or maybe that's because it's in a large print.

Considering she's not well known they do have a rather large selection. Not everything of course, but the popular ones and some not so well-known songs like sono mama de iin da and kingfisher girl etc. It's pretty good
