I think it's fine to have both and this would not bother the reading...

Nah, I prefer it with the Japanese anyway :)

New translation up:

http://maayasakamoto.blogspot.com/2010/ ... -from.html

This is the afterword, I guess you'd call it, from Maaya's lyric collection book 'Chizu to tegami to koi no uta'. It's a really sweet little essay about her trip to Finland when they shot the booklet for 30 Mins Night Flight.

A letter her readers :) enjoy!!

Some YCCM translations: an interview from Tower Records Online, an interview from WHAT's IN?, and the liner notes from the special site. If you've only got time for one, I say go for the WHAT's IN? interview -- I think it's the most interesting of the three, and easier to digest than Miki Ueno's flowery diction.

all those memorys haha. the finland pictures, i like em the most. i remember the day when i found out about the maaya page. there was this pop-up window called "the travelling cafe". nice atmosphere
of a low-crowded, calm city. i was movin to that site only for those pictures from time to time.
really funny that there was some1 selling a maaya cd haha! but its true, even if you did not intent to, you catched the hearts of people all around the world. sometimes you dont need to understand the language in order to understand

Thanks to dilly finding the source, I was able to make translations of Hotchpotch liner notes. (Except for "Pocket o Kara ni Shite," which was bizarrely not on the source--which was a screenshot of the Hotchpotch mini-site up on Maaya's official site at the time! What...?)

Available from here!

Still seeking liner notes for Grapefruit, Dive, and Easy Listening.

I finished making romaji of YCCM, and I translated the liner notes from the What's In interview to go on each page, and I translated "Tegami" too. (Both of those things had already been translated, so this isn't very exciting, but oh well...)

Available here.

More translations, as always, forthcoming!

Another interview from the 'You Can't Catch Me' promotional run up. This interview was apparently originally printed in a magazine but Tower Records Japan have posted it up on their website for all to read. It's quite short but it's a nice little read.

http://maayasakamoto.blogspot.com/2011/ ... ch-me.html

Sorry if there are any typos, I wrote it up quickly during my lunch hour at work. I'll re-read it again later.

People have probably already seen it but I've put the first part and second part (of six) of an 'I.D' essay book piece on Maaya's experience of 'Les Miserables' up on my blog. Enjoy! (link in my sig)
