Maaya's Ame ga furu page / mini-site has been updated with a PV and video message (click on the umbrella). Damn, I didn't know a PV had been planned. Maaya looks awesome in it too.

Oh yeah, I'll have the TV version of the song posted on my site shortly.

Saw the first ep. The mecha design and fight animation is typically Gonzo, which is to say pretty good. The characters, not too sure yet. The storyline is pretty run of the mill so far: main character is a bit of a wimp, a big robot drops out of the sky on top of him, boy meets girl, boy beats up bad guys.

The song is really nice though. Maaya always performs her own songs well. I'm looking forward to the full length version (and the lyrics sheet). My initial impression is the tv size version of Ame ga furu sounds a bit better than Triangler. She is singing within her vocal range and not pushing those high notes.
