I don't see why not...it would be a shame not to release that track. I also suppose "yasashisa ni tsutsumareta nara" will make an appearance, since Maaya has such fond feelings for it. Maybe a piano-only version of "everywhere", too? But there really haven't been many singles since "kazeyomi" (and I can't see "Magic Number" being included, since it already showed up in the best-hits release), so almost the entire album should be all-new. If we cross our fingers, maybe we'll get another Maaya-composed song in there somewhere.

I'm surprised there's not more posts in this thread, all the exciting things happen when I'm away so I expected to find five pages already!
I'm excited, I wonder what direction she'll be taking.

Considering how things have been in the past two years, I expect it to be her best album in almost ten years. I didn't like the first few years after she departed with Yoko Kanno, but now things have been improving

I'm being cautiously optimistic about the new album, but yeah I'm somewhat excited.
Glad we don't have to wait over 3 years for another full album. I hope this one includes Utsukushii Hito. And I won't complain if there are more Yoko Kanno composed songs.

This! I hope Utsukushii Hito signals a reunion of Maaya and Yoko Kanno that will last for more than that single collaboration!

I've been out of the Maaya loop for a while, I hadn't even heard
Utsukushii hito yet. I'm listening to nijibug's upload on youtube currently, haha. Great song.
Hopefully this new album will rekindle my Maaya love.
