I had the radio rip of that version and here,t here and evrywhere.. I believe it it was an old Vitamin M.. and I think the guitar player was her brother (this is what I understood from my very very very limited knowledge of japanese (I'm not even sure she has a brother XD)) The thing is I lost that recording once I lost a DVD with my backup files one time I had to format my pc :(

That's from the Kazeyomi live.

Each time I see some live from this concert, I can't wonder why her voice was like this that time: it seems it was greatly altered by the microphone or some post treatment... Or she was ill or something because she hardly reached some high notes.

I found some so called "rare findings" on Youtube, when I was searching for Maaya Sakamoto more frequently back then, like 2-3 years ago. It also helps when you type in the name in kanji. Quite a bunch of videos, recently posted in this forum, I already saw at that time. I thought it was common to do so.
But it's impossible for me to dig them out again. There was one video where she made a cake for the IDS fans.
Woman in the kitchen ftw! :P So maybe IDS members get all the love.

When we think of it, it is really cool that she was found by the Escaflowne team to make her sing something different...
I'd have never follow her in Whoops =)

I think this was after her debut as the singer and maincharacter in Escaflowne, actually she was promoting Cho Hatsumei Boy Kanipan with her duet with Chieko Higuchi as Whoops!! http://nicoviewer.net/sm3319733
singin the OP and ED of such anime.

In the ED song Itsuka we can hear clearly Maaya-neesan as the leading voice in the song, albeit an excellent one for being in such an early stage of her career as a singer.

:D

Yep, Whoops!! happened after Esca (they were active around 1998~1999). I have some lyrics here, you can see that the album was basically divided between the two girls.
