I have found this yesterday..
Kimi no Sei and Message
Message is a ROUND TABLE song, released in 2003 while Kimi no Sei (as you know) is written and composed by Watanabe Kenji (Suneohair) released last year in the YCCM album ...
Message
Lyrics and Composition: Rieko Ito (ROUND TABLE)
Arrangement: ROUND TABLE
Single: Sunny Side Hill (Message as the B-side) (2003)
Album: Nino (2006)
Kmi no Sei
Lyrics, Composition and Arrangement: Suneohair
Message's chorus is very similar to Kimi no Sei...
Coincidence?

Kimi no sei:

(They'll load to the choruses.)
They're definitely not the same, but there's QUITE a bit of similarity there, I think.
Oh wow. After lurking here for gosh knows how many years, my first post?! I blame dillpops.

If you ever try to compose some music, you'll discover it is very comon to put in what you create some part you already have in your mind because it cames from other music you like and you are used to listen to.countdown65 wrote: I have found this yesterday..

Sometimes, it is even the same band that write twice the "same song".
So yes, this too are alike, and it is funny. It's difficult to listen to Nino without thinking of Kimi no sei (or for Round Table fans, to listen to Maaya and not think of Message). But it is not a big deal and do happen very often.
Life is on Maayas, and the posts are hope and promise...
RE: "Kimi no Sei" and "Message"
I thought the similarity between 'Kimi to Boku' and Erika Sawajiri's 'Taiyou no Uta' was more odd to be honest. I'm pretty sure someone else thought they were similar too, right? But I think it was an accident. Only a little bit sounds like Taiyou no Uta, just the first part and I think it is what Jerome says that because I already heard the first song the second one sounds like it!
