A little Japanese Help

Post by Chibikko »

How's it hanging everyone?

I'm just wondering if someone would be so kinda as to help me out with a Japanese site.
I've been looking for a couple rare cds (This one, and This one) for a few years now, and I finally found a place to buy them!

But I don't know if the supplier ships overseas.
Or what kind of payment they take, or how to fill out the shipping form or anything. -_-
Yeah, I can only read a tiny bit of Japanese.....
Could someone please give me a hand here?

And - Thanks ^_^

*I took screen shots of the forms if that helps any*

I can translate every piece of it relatively easy using Opera, but it looks like they'll only ship to Japanese prefectures.

The 2nd block of red text from the bottom translates to:

"Please enter correctly from an all-prefectures name to a building, an apartment name, and a room number." using Opera's built in translator.

They also provide only COD (cash on delivery) so I doubt that will work with you.
You can also try a proxy service, like akibado.

zomg I've been trying to find a place like Akibado for a while now. I want to order some items from the Nippon Ichi JP Store (disgaea stuff) but i didnt know how I would accomplish that.

Thanks! :)

Ooh, Akibado may be helpful to me in getting those Rie fu items... >.>

Also, does Opera have a built-in translator for other languages besides Japanese? I've been looking for a Firefox thingy just as good as Rikaichan for French and Spanish, but there doesn't seem to be one...

Here's an image of all the choices. You just highlight some text, right click and choose a translate option. Seems easier to use then trying to have google translate entire webpages. For Japanese it goes to some Japanese website to use as a translator.

Nah, they've got that sort of thing for Firefox. What I really want is something like Rikaichan, which highlights parts of the text (automatically picking out words from sentences) and pops up with a little box translating the word. But I don't think that exists for any other languages. :/

looks like Akibado is going to come through with ordering the things I want from Nippon Ichi's Japanese Store. I think the total I came up myself was like 119000 yen, and the Akibado quoted me at 158000 yen for everything and their fee. A slightly substantial fee, but I did have like 10 individual things in the order.
