Just a question: anyone know Rurutia?

Post by Windpaths »

I became a fan of her these days, accidentally....

The song "Lost Butterfly" just made me love her. At first I only noticed the nice melody, but after understanding the lyric I was moved

Even bought her CD "Water Forest" from CD Japan.

Similar with Sakamoto Maaya ---- Rurutia is not doing a lot in promotion or advertisement stuff. She just does her music, purely.

BTW, she writes all the lyrics and musics her self. The arrangement is done by her in cooperation with Satou Taka.

However, I bet not many people can get used to the way she sings lol

I think it is best to hear the lyric with the tune so I uploaded it.

It always happens ==== sometimes the lyrics seem to talk about normal things, but when it combines with the melody it can have a powerful effect.

Many of Rurutia's lyrics have a rich, poetic vocabulary (loads of similes and metaphors! ), but in this one she has not used that many metaphor etc...

Wow....

I LOVE THE SONG! :D

She has a peculiar voice jump and melow fade that tickles my cheeks red.
Reminds me of when i listened to the first tracks of Maaya XD
To other readers, listen to it, you may like it too ^^

For starters, Rurutia is a peculiar name, or is it just made up? (not that i don't love the sound of it... ru ru tia). Time for some bio reading and music torrent searching fun! |D

Thanks for the sample and lyrics! :)

PS. Now i have a lust for more songs

Added to playlist, even though I didn't any catch. In the other hand, it is 3AM so it is better to judge some other time. Anyways, it didn't have any hateable elements :)

Listening to songs at 3 am! o_O

Wow, that pretty late, in conclusion internet makes time scarmble until you no longer need sleep, as long as you are downloading ....something.

To say the truth, i have heard the song lots of times and still like it... hope i don't wear it out :p

Is Rurutia just a singer or another seiyuu?

This only makes me remember my silly thought of who is Maaya's nemesis; i usually like to brag with my friend bout who is the best singer, and i have defended Maaya against tough singers like Ayumi Hamasaki and the Morning Musume bunch! XD

In the end we have a laugh or two because we make little drawings in tissue paper of them fighting. But always remembering to have an open ear to new music ^^[/b]

wowww...I love rurutia! I think her verses are a little bit boring, but her ideas of instruments and rhythms and drums are just wonderful! Thanks for introducing me to her, I must admit I was getting a bit bored musically. :(

I think you have started a chain reaction, Windpaths! XD

As in recent days, i have been listening to the 3 tracks i have of her (thx by the way.. did you notice the weird id-3 tag?). And apparently as some users here, my friends are starting to ask who is she and i have more! ^^u

The only major thing i found of Rurutia, is a promotional video in one of the torrents:

http://torrents.theppn.org/details.php? ... ed=rurutia

And here, being that until i buy a copy of the cd for myself (hope i still remember my ebay password @_@)... do you need help making the torrent :S
(my leeching is so obvious >_<)

I have not made a torrent in a long time, so i don't remember, but maybe this can help:

http://www.monduna.com/bt/faq.html#CREATE_1
http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/romeria/tutorial.htm

Maybe i can make a new music torrent, of say... Mikan Enikki? (does anyone in the world know of this anime? )

So, heres hoping for good music! :D

Why can't they torrent individual files, why do they have to batch them together, I didn't download the maaya karaoke one because the person batched files I already had with it. :(

Atleast TorrentStorm is able to download particular files only. You can also prioritize the wanted files from the torrent.

Here i found more about her discography, in wich i am suprised she has 2 albums and one... disc... thingy. In any case, the covers are awsome! :D

Also the layout of the website is cool/cute! ^^

Thanks for all your support...

The fan site, www.rurutia.net, has a lot of interesting information about Rurutia and her music. For example, the meaning of a lyric which was written in the language of Tahiti.

I've uploaded some other Rurutia songs for one Chinese friend who wants them (From her second album, "Water Forest"), you can have a try, too. (I may delete them very soon in order to upload rest of the tracks for her, so download now!)

I have good and bad news. This depends on your patience, and luck.
I have found a Rurutia discography torrent! :D
It has all her music and... stuff...
Its on a moderatly popular tracker known as hongfire.com, wich has lots of stuff of anime.

The problem is, that i am not sure if there are seeders or the tracker is just down. Until now... i have 0.5% of the torrent T-T

Anyway, here is the torrent because i know you want it! >=D

First post! ^__^

I stumbled upon this forum looking for lyrics for Rurutia's new CD "Meme". Good to find a couple of relatively new Rurutia fans. I first heard about her because I randomly downloaded a song called Traumerei from something called PopoloCrois. The song is incredible, but I didnt think much of it. Flash forward a year and I download the promo video for an anime called Karas. Within the 5 minute long trailer there is this 30 second little clip of a Rurutia song. I was so floored by the song that I had to research it to find out what it was. I found out it was called "Selenite" and it's on the "Meme" cd which just came out last month I believe. I promptly ordered the CD from www.yesasia.com and just received it a few days ago. All in all it's one of the best jpop CDs i've ever purchased, and one of the only ones that puts me in a trance :D

I'm probably going to order the rest of her CDs because she needs some support from an international fanbase. Maybe she'll even get popular enough to come to A-kon or some other US anime convention :D

There is a sample from "Selenite" on her official site in the "Meme" album, as well as the "Primary" single.
