Rurutia ^^
A long time ago in a thread far away...
For those who did not follow the original post, some time ago Windpaths posted some music from her...
I became a fan of her these days, accidentally....
The song "Lost Butterfly" just made me love her. At first I only noticed the nice melody, but after understanding the lyric I was moved
Even bought her CD "Water Forest" from CD Japan.
Similar with Sakamoto Maaya ---- Rurutia is not doing a lot in promotion or advertisement stuff. She just does her music, purely.
BTW, she writes all the lyrics and musics her self. The arrangement is done by her in cooperation with Satou Taka.
However, I bet not many people can get used to the way she sings lol
I have loved the music ever since, wich by the way was hard to find. Fortunately she posted some mp3s too
As quoted, her style of music is original and i find that from track to track her style changes ever so random! (reminds me of Shounen Alice :S)
Check out the Rurutia web!:

I was able to get more music from her here:
http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8736
Unfortunately that torrent is really old, and am not sure if there are seeders. I am looking for a friendly tracker in wich i could make a torrent for her separate albums.
Give me second and a push to remind me to upload them ok ^^
As for Rurutia, have you seen here videos in Rurutia.net?, i think they are as out weird and pretty as the songs are
What tracks have you heard? (or where?... last time i checked, some of the mp3 links are down XS)

I;ve only listened to the previews on her site, and I'm really intruiged. ^_^
She sounds somewhere between wuite loely and rather cute.
It doesn't really look like there's a seed for that torrent anymore, but I'll leave it open anyway.
I haven't watched any of her videos on rurutia.net.
Guess I'll go check those out. ^_^

Strangled a guy...XD That must be Itoshigoyo PV!
If you understand what Itoshigoyo's lyric is talking about
You might agree so much that the PV just fits the lyric so well...
.
:: Rurutia's Lyrics:
They've all been typed by me from the original booklet! ALL are EXACT! (promise promise)
-------ignore the Chinese on the top of the page -_- they are just telling people the same information above.

::About translation of Rurutia's lyrics...
Rurutia's lyrics are mostly rich in vacabulary, imageries and stuff. (in a word, poetic) It's certainly a pleasure to understand them.
I've translated all of her lyrics except some new songs in "Meme".
You see, I have strong confidence in translating Rurutia's lyric into poetic Chinese, since Chinese is my mother tongue and I read a lot of Chinese literature (which helps translating).
For English, I might just be able to translate the meaning, but not the poetic beauty...
But chibi you understand some Japanese? (don't beat me up if I'm wrong XD)
.
:: About Scans
I have some scans, could you come here?
(The pages are in Chinese, but you just click on the jpg files XD)
Primary Single Scan:

Meme Album Scan:

(There's one scan which is low quality.. but I tried some effect on it)
I'm still working on other scans... (don't have scanner at home, so have to use school library...)
.
:: About PV
Now Rurutia has got 5 PVs altogether, relased in her singles/albums in CD-Extra format, they are:
Itoshigoyo
Lost Butterfly
Shine
Traumerei
Primary
There are two short movies which have used her song as main theme or so: (they were included in her albums in CD-Extra format)
Suzaku no Sora
Kimino himitsu, bokuno kokoro
Which ones do you need? ^__^

The PV i had indeed was Itoshigoyo! :O
I only have that one and Lost Butterfly, yet they are great! ^^
I saw some other in Rurutias official homepage, where you can also listen to her music (streammedia).
Finally!, lyrcs to follow Ruru-chan's songs! XD
Also, i can translate the lyrics you posted to english/spanish ^n_n^
... unless you already have them in english?... o_o
Translating lyrics is a fun hobby, since i rediscover the songs and also helps me remember the words :x. Yet giving them a poetic meaning is another step thru; but.....

Wow how did I miss this thread? >_<
I actually just recently discovered Rurutia and fell so hard in love with her music that I bought all 4 of her cds ($30 each at www.yesasia.com). They are 4 of the best JPOP albums i've ever heard/owned. I have plenty of other JPOP albums by Hikki, Do As Infinity, Brilliant Green, Ayumi, etc, etc, but these Rurutia cds really take the cake with how wonderful they are. I can put them on and listen to every one of the 44 songs without having to skip a single one.
My favorite songs are:
Selenite (Meme)
Blue Rose (I might have translated this one wrong, it's track 10 on Meme)
Neo (Promised Land)
Primary (Meme)
Track 10 (Promised Land, no idea on the translation )
Lost Butterfly (R
