i play guitar jerome, though i don't know a thing about guitar techniques and terms...
but long time ago i found this song's key myself, and i think the chorus starts from Bb. Though you maybe mean that your tab here has been down key.
im not diligent enough to write a tab nor i have knowledge about it. I just found it randomly and play it randomly. I think my chord is a mess and only 60% accurate.
this mybe a lot of thing to ask but could you possibly raise the key 1 1/2 for me..? :P (from G to Bb is 1 1/2 isn't it ?)
thanks in advance..
.. okay.. im just being too lazy... i'll try change it myself.
also, hikari no naka e remains my favorite all time song from maaya and from any artists, for sure..

You're totally right... as am I ;p
Capo somewhere (adapt it for your voice and sing it !!!)
Original is Capo III
This mean original is played with a Capo on 3rd fret, so every chords are played 3 semi tones higher, so it starts with a ... G +3/2 = Bb ;p
But I tabbed it to be played mostly with open chords, thats why I put a Capo on !

ouh.. i think i grab ur idea.. i too have capo for my accoustic guitar here..
actually, when i play guitar, i usually play it along with the original song being played.. and i play it quietly so it won't get louder than the song itself.. i like hearing the vague sound of my guitar.. it's as if the sound being a part, absorbed by the sound emitted from the sound system.. as if im playing with the rest of the band :P
one of the part of the song that i liked from this song is the 2nd intro. The first intro if im not mistaken starts with Gm F D# Bb and so on, but the 2nd starts with Em D C G (1 1/2 down key). But it continue with the same verse as the first one (which is Bb). The magic thing about this is.. it makes maaya's vocal as if it's one and a half key higher (since the intro is 1 1/2 lower), if u get what i mean.. Or does maaya vocal going higher?? never really compare it.. but if that right, that mean she's singing off key.. and it doesn't seem like that.. i think it stays the same but that intro thing is certainly a great move. :)

the bridge part:
Em Bm
C G (riff)
Em Bm
C D B7 E (not Em !!!)

i thought it was like this:
Gm Dm
D# F Bb
Gm Dm -not much of a different until here-
yet the next line..
D# Dsus D G -when transposed to ur case become C Bsus B E-

edit:
anyway, after i try it... i think ur right.. thanks for this :D

Well for the bridge part... I don't know if here is the place to speak about harmony...

But you may know a V7 chord (like here B7) as same value as the normal chord, and just reinforce the resolution of it to the I chord associated (here E)

You may also know that Bm7 and D/B are the same chords... so having a altered Bm7 in place of a D will not cause any misshearing. Maybe Bsus4 is a bit far from the Bm7, but for example a B7sus4 should do the trick.

So I guess you were not wrong... It's all about the phrases you want to play through the notes of your chords. There is no "good" and "bad" choices here ^^;

certainly there's that phrase factor.. just curious about the original tune that were played by the guitar player for that song.. after i tried it again, i think it's best to use Fsus (or Fsus2 or Fsus4 i'm not too sure on what key i'm pressing my finger is!? XD) D7 Gsus G for that part. Or.. let's see C Dsus B7 Esus E. And maybe if a B for transition between that E and the C#m at the chorus part would sound nicer.. ;)
