Help with IDS!

Post by Heavenly Ocean »

Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what a certain item is that is on http://www.ids-shop.jp/

It is the one that says Lisbon Portugal! I know Maaya-chan visited some Europe places including Lisbon but I was just wondering what that item is. The site won`t let me see more information about it because I am not a member.

Thank you so much! ^^

That would be the 2010 calendar. The photos for this year are quite nice; after the year ends I might scan it and post it somewhere.

I just tried renewing my membership with a US-issued American Express card, and it appears to have worked this year. The tricky part is the mailing address, since you have to use full-width characters, but full-width spaces aren't allowed. I ended up separating the words with underscores, so hopefully the postal service will be forgiving when I get things from IDS!. For the zip code it let me use 000-0000 and 東京都 (Tōkyō-to).

If anyone has any questions about the registration process, please post them to this thread so everyone can benefit from the answers.

1. Click here.
2. To sign up as new member, click 新規申込 (first yellow button)
3. membership terms are shown. Click 同意する to agree and continue.
4. fill in the form. some hints:
a) if there is (全角) after the field, it has to be filled in using full-width symbols, even for Latin letters. In Windows, you can do it by entering text with the IME on, then pressing F9.
b) fields marked (半角) only accept half-with (normal) letters or digits.
c) zip code should be three, then four digits. If yours is shorter, pad it with zeros. If longer, or includes digits, enter anything, then put the real zip code in the address lines.
NB: last four digits in the zip code will be a password for ticket ordering.
d) address lines accept only full-width symbols and no spaces. You can still use full-width underscores and commas. You might have to move words between lines to make it fit. I put country in the beginning of the address, but it might be a good idea to add it at the end too.
e) phone has to be 2-4-4 digits
f) it's better to fill in the real birth date (at least month/date), it will be your password.
I've attached commented screens of the form.

5. Click 確認する to continue. If you get an error, check the mentioned field name. E.g.
入力されたお名前の値が不正です。全角文字のみで入力してください。
(you've entered incorrect "name". please use full-width symbols only)

Make sure to reenter the email address and credit-card info.
6. You will get a confirmation screen with the details you entered. Click 次へ to continue or 修正 to go back and fix.

7. next you'll get the payment confirmation screen. Click 決済する to pay or 手続中止 to cancel. If it goes well, you'll get the success screen.

Hope this helps someone. My Visa did not work :/

Thx a lot Roxfan. As always, you're *very* kind.
Is there any option to say somewhere I'm a former IDS member, and want to get back my old membership ?
If not I'll apply as a new one, but I'd be glad to stay with my former number

You can try doing the extension (継続申込, first button in the second row), but I don't think it will work if your membership lapsed. You will be asked for your fanclub ID and the password (which is your birth date in either mmdd or ddmm format, don't remember exactly).

It works !
But I don't know how...
My American Express was not taken at first, so I tried with my Visa... It passed the &1st step, then was refused... so it asked me another card, so I tried back with my Amex, and it works !
I just hope it will not count the amount once on each card eheheheheh ;)
