I made this: http://maayas.net/suomi/
What do you think? Is it a good idea to make it possible for people to write in their own language? Chinese, French, Spanish, Portuguese speakers?
My initial thoughts is that this would do good for the site, it would increase activity and it would take advantage of the international aspect of the site. The site is often a bit slow, but having this kind of collaborative projects that would be in your own main language should make things much easier and convenient.
If this works, well, that is a different story...

It's a good idea. But as we already lack good wiki-workers to fill the already existing english section, I don't know if this would really be filled someday ?
....
If Meg and me want to do the french part, should it be http://maayas.net/french or http://maayas.net/francais ? :p

Don't know the answer :p But I'm volunteering for helping enhancing the French part!Jérôme. wrote: It's a good idea. But as we already lack good wiki-workers to fill the already existing english section, I don't know if this would really be filled someday ?

Oh but it can be http://maayas.net/français or http://maayas.net/france as well! For Finnish it is all too easy, suomi means both the language and the country However in the page title I've used it like "Maaya's Finland".
I guess you can choose what fits best the style of French... or simply what feels right.
