Also so far so good: none of the old spammer registration "protections" are in use and still no new bot registration. I hope things stay this way! Because if that changes then my only resort is to do what I did with phpBB2 back in the day: write a custom protection.

Merri you are an absolute star. The last few times I came there were always a bajillion spam bot accounts to get rid of. You've cleaned us up T____T

Thanks! It really looks like we're on the safe side for now. The only thing missing are new members and maybe a few other veterans coming back :)

I added Google Analytics tracking which I hope helps a bit in giving perspective on how many true visitors we have. It looks like there is always 10+ guest visitors roaming around, but these might not be true people... we shall see! Maybe this provokes someone to register just to let me know there are real people paying a visit!

There have been a few spam accounts. Removed those and banned a few email domains.

If you see spammers just hit REPORT next to a post to make it a bit easier to track the spam.
