Hi there! Today I tried to transcript the lyrics of this song by listening to it. There are some parts i don't clearly understand. Maybe we can do it together:
そこにいる君は
The you over there
Is not only that xxxx you
My lived joy until today
is living with my sadness.
I dont care
if you delete and don't tell the important things
This sky, the sound of the leaves
The world: knows it all.
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
I turned into an adult.
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
At least just a little.
Instead of 100 words
There's something i want to tell you
Instead of 100 words
I'll tell you and believe.
<------ not sure what says here in the song, cant listen
Although we've been together anytime
I didnt realize, even once,
about your self-control and your shivering
the real important things
become transient as smaller as you remember them
The erasing wind, as there's no end,
two hands that cover the eyes.?
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
Now that im alone
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
anywhere
instead of 100 words
i want to tell you something
isntead of 100 words
i only think about you
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
??????????????????
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
only a little
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
now that im alone
Of that thing called Freedom, is there a moment?
anywhere

Thanks a lot, let me share some probable corrections
Although the most logical sentence would be そこにいる君は, I feel like she always ends this sentence with "ma", so maybe she says そこにいる君今: "The one over there now"?.
I think then she says 今だけの君じゃない : "It's not only the you from today."
I think この空や揺れる葉音や is rather この空や揺れる羽音や which would mean "This sky and the shivering/wavering wings flutter".
In the refrain, she says 自由って切なくないですか: "When you 're speaking about freedom, it's not painful isn't it?"
"[...] about your sadness and your shivering"
Also, 百の言葉より wouldn't rather mean "More than hundred words"?
Overall, I have to say the lyrics are really hard to understand ^^

Thank you for joining the work, Yyrkoon! (^_^)/
but after that she uses ima. I think it would be something like: The you standing over there, is not just the you of this moment (like something trasendental is happening to that you?).
I'm a little depressed about the lyirics this time. When i read who would write them, I was specting something more beautifull.
That's it! I couldn't hear pretty well maayas voice. I still think in the first sentence she uses Wa,Yyrkoon wrote: Although the most logical sentence would be そこにいる君は, I feel like she always ends this sentence with "ma", so maybe she says そこにいる君今: "The one over there now"?.

You are right. I didn't knew about that word "haoto", i thought it has to do with leaves(ha) and it sound (oto). But yes, maybe the wings of birds?Yyrkoon wrote: I think この空や揺れる葉音や is rather この空や揺れる羽音や which would mean "This sky and the shivering/wavering wings flutter".
That's true. I always thought it had to be with suffering, but I couldn't find the adjective in the dictionary XD. In my opinion, I would translate it "Isn't it painfull the thing called freedom?".Yyrkoon wrote: In the refrain, she says 自由って切なくないですか: "When you 're speaking about freedom, it's not painful isn't it?"
Yup, I think that has to be with my english XD.Yyrkoon wrote: Also, 百の言葉より wouldn't rather mean "More than hundred words"?

Bingo."Isn't it painfull the thing called freedom?".
I think until you see the film you won't get where the lyrics are coming from, unfortunately. Yuho Iwasato tends to be very specific when writing lyrics for anime - the themes and character viewpoints come across very strongly. Even reading the lyrics without seeing the anime its obvious they're going to be somehow relevant.
Although if they aren't to your taste then I guess that won't change with viewing the movie ^^;;
