NIKORA
RE: NIKORA
Wow, great job getting this much down!!
I listened to the first part for a long time, and I think she's saying "yakouressha" (夜行列車) which means "night train" and I think fits with the rest of the verse. I didn't know this word myself until I searched for it just now. Thank you!

RE: NIKORA
Sorry for hijacking, but here's my translation.
The backstory of the song was mentioned in Maaya's interviews and also in her live MCs. She went for a trip to Cappadocia, Turkey and was struck by the fact that almost everyone there works as a guide or another tourist-related job. To her, it was an ancient region from another time, but to people living there it's just everyday scenery, and they don't know any other life. She made a song from a point of view of a flower seller girl.
-----------------------------------
utsukushii tokoro da to
maru de yume ka eiga no you
moshimo koko de kurashiteita nara shiawase darou tte
The night train brings tourists at 6 A.M
They feel the dry wind on their cheeks and shade their eyes
And say:
"What a beautiful place!
Like from a dream or a movie
Living here must be happiness itself"
atashi ni wa tada taikutsu na keshiki
hoka no ikikata nante shiranai wa
kono machi de umarete shindeiku no
toosugiru anata no sumu sekai wa
To me it's just a boring scenery
I don't know any other way of life
I was born in this town and will die here
The world you live in is too far from mine
daremo ga minna ude wo hiroge tabibito wo ukeireru
anata wa mujaki na egao de arigatou to kurikaesu
soshite iu wa
yasashii hito bakari da to
maru de shin'yuu ka kazoku da
itsuka futatabi otozureru made wasurenaide tte
Everybody welcomes tourists with open arms
You keep saying "thank you" with an innocent smile
And say:
"Everyone is so nice here
Like close friends or family
Let's not forget each other until we meet again"
atashi ni wa mainichi onaji keshiki
futsuu ga nanika nante shiranai wa
nidoto aenai koto wakatteiru
toosugiru anata no sumu sekai wa
For me it's the same scene every day
I don't know if it's usual or not
I know we'll never meet again
The world you live in is too far from mine
The night train brings tourists at 6 A.M
Flower sellers sit along the road waiting for it
