I'm not sure if I'm completely off the wall here but did anyone else find a similarity between Alto and Sheryl's farewell scene in Macross Frontier episode 24 and Millerna and Allen's farewell scene at the end of Escaflowne when Allen's going off to fight?

They both seemed to have vaguely the same structure. Maybe it was on purpose? XD :evil:

No, I didn't found it. I will have a look. I was going to watch Escaflowne again in the near future anyway.
