Did anyone else get pulled into the 'all things Japanese' camp by Pokemon? The original came out when I was starting secondary school so it's a big pot of nostalgia for me. And then today I found this:

I saw that last night! Major props to the whole team behind that trailer. MAJOR PROPS.

I was already too old (and already in japanese stuff) for pokemon when it came up, but this look like something so mature in regard of the original.
Almost made me want to see it =)

back in the days pokemon was so successful because it was something new.
holy crap how long was that ago? around 12 years and its still running on some channel here in germany muahaha sikkk.

but lets be honest it is/was not a good animeseries for kids. they learned nothing from it (except becoming friends with some kind of animals by... imprisoning them) & every episode was the same (ash fights vs some1 else). thats why they could make 71235647 episodes of it. the best cartoons ran in the 80s and early 90s.

i wouldnt watch a pokemon movie in cinemas or whereever -
