Mac 7 is weird and kind of dumb. Either watch the original series, Mac Plus (highly recommended if you haven't already, Kanno's debut don't ya know) and Mac Zero is pretty ok.

I have to agree, the series not to watch is Macross 7. The original one, Macross Plus, Macross Zero are good stuff. This new one is also good so far, I love it

For me.....I just watch only macross plus, macross, and macross frontier.
