Finally got my copy of the Tomita Lab's best collection today. I went ahead and splurged and got the LE. The packaging is much better than what Victor Ent / flying dog uses. Two dvd style cases in a cardboard slipcase box.

Haven't listened to it much yet, but I did check out Maaya's song. It's nice, but nothing special. I'll post a clip on my site later this week.

Wow, tickets to the concert for the Tomita Lab gig are a little pricey - 8000yen. Regardless Ill be away for work on the day its on unfortunately. Oh well. Hopefully she will work the song into her Tokyo gigs next week.

Hear the whole song today. Sounds far like bossa nova, music of my country that I know is popular in Japan. Maaya's voice is always comforting, really enjoyed it.

In case anyone was curious about the song itself. I like the verses but it's not the most memorable song. It's ok though, nice to pass the time with.

not memorable coz the notes jumped in a lot of occasion.. but enjoyable,.. true. especially at the beginning..

edit: btw has any of you had a recommendation of other songs that u find good in this album?
