hirotani junko knows maaya because she has done back vocals for her first album (Dive for example) and Ayumi Hamasaki's Missunderstood album. That's all I know !

Hirotani does lots of backing vocals. I still have the Patlabor collection with her performing 'If you wanna it'. Bad english, cute track. She does keep coming up in odd places in my music collection.

i do tend to read all the credits and whatnot in album booklets at least once. so her name was floating around in my mind somewhere

Well, I got Precious Songs. Action is kinda cute but it feels like something is missing. I cannot say its Maaya's best CLAMP song. But it is ok. Strangely Hirotani's songs impressed me more, she has a nice voice, its a pity she tends to stick to backing vocals.

Thank you kaimugen, I was asking myself if Action was nice or not. I didn't receive it yet.

I loved Action! I really want the single now. :o So cute - I loved seeing Clover characters in action. Aaah, I loved it! Maaya's singing goes well with CLAMP...
