Wouldn't 恋 be
koi? There could be some furigana I'm unaware of, but yeah

No, it's koi...
I'm really, really curious about that character on Maaya's I.D page that jumps in and out. What the heck is it. It's not Maaya's design style which means MAYBE it's part of the Night Flight dvd film?

Yes... it's koi. That's what happens when you think you know a kanji and don't need to check its reading (ai and koi are similar, but yes...). Oh, this is just embarrassing, but also exactly why I prefer not to romanize if I can help it, I have just grown too accustomed to translation...

Yes, koi and ai mean the same thing as far as I know (although there may be nuances in meaning). However, in general, each kanji is read a certain way. When by themselves, 恋 is read koi and 愛 is read ai.

I think
ai is more the love directed to one person/think (wife, child, brother, school, book) and that is older/deeper; and
koi more generalised/ fresh (young love, sayings, liason (is this english?)).
But that is only my impression, don't take it for science

Regardless, the expression "koi suru" means 'to fall in love with, to love.' That's the real point here, ai vs. koi nuances don't matter in this case. ^^

Maaya's site updated again...I KNEW IT! Yay, a round of applause for me for guessing that the little character that pops up on Maaya's home page is part of the DVD ^__^ if you look at the icon on the 30minutes Night Flight page, guess whose little face is there
Bwa ha ha ha!
Anyway, staff diary, album concept, photographs of Finland and samples are up!!
