i just started watching eureka. in japan it will run into 52 eps i think. the concept is by bones, mecha design by shoji kawamori. initially it looks freakin good (if youre a action/mecha fan), the mecha combat reminds me of macross (lots of missile trails). characters seem strong so far, some funny bits, action, a good prodution staff, i will see how it turns out.

so i got to thinking, what is your top ten mecha in anime/manga? my list:

I've watched some of Eureka Seven (first 4 episodes I think). I liked it well enough, but I'm actually pretty anti-mecha anime.

Escaflowne was awesome, but I dunno if I would necessary call it a mecha anime. It's more like Full Metal Panic in my opinion, where large machines are involved, but the story doesnt focus on them primarily.
